The apex 10 is an engineering marvel. Quality machining is just the beginning. Tight tolerances throughout make this unit run like a well oiled machine that it is. The unit has multiple adjustments to further enhance the performance and it's built for durability, very few plastic pieces. Now although in my opinion it is not for a beginner, but the team's support is unmatched with a live person answering the phone or responding back within minutes. Best of all it's made in the USA! For the quality, support and the features the unit comes with it is a bargain for a press of this quality with the ability to upgrade to automation and a host of sensors available. The powder measure alone is unmatched in quality and durability. Thanks to Mark 7 for an excellent piece of equipment. I've had several 650 presses but the precision and quality of the Mark 7 is unmatched.

So, ill start off saying that I have very limited experience in the Reloading world and have nothing to compare it to. But, this machine is awesome. The instructions were able to guide me completely through set up. I also had the Gavintoobe video for set up playing while I assembled the unit/ set the dies. the operation of the machine is super smooth, although decapping and setting the primer can both be felt in the handle individual from the rest of the processes almost. The powder measure may not have a digital read out on it. But, when you set it to 3.5 Grains it throws 3.5 grains every time. i had a few questions in regards to shipping times, tool head compatibility, and the Mark VII team was extremely responsive. The sales team at Lyman did alright. But, when I need a correct answer, I'm going to hit up Mark VII's team.
